The stunning new West Midlands Learning Directory web site was launched recently; the response has been overwhelmingly positive from around the region.
The site provides access to an astonishing array of learning opportunities for adults across the West Midlands.
The new easy-to-use and graphically pleasing interface has been further enhanced by a "Theme Picker", which enables readers with slight visual impairments to select the colour scheme and fonts that best enable them to use the site efficiently.
The jewel in the crown of the WMLD site is the new "Hear All About It" section, (funded by Birmingham and Solihull Learning and Skills Council) that is administered by the indefatigable Jo Knight of NIACE (The National Institute of Adult Continuing Education).
For the first time, potential learners in the West Midlands can share the experiences of those who have benefited from available learning opportunities, thanks to an engaging series of video interviews that are available online. Full transcripts are also be downloaded.
