Inside Manufacturing Enterprise
The Inside Manufacturing Enterprise initiative was established to introduce young people to career opportunities within the UK manufacturing industry.Much of the promotional work that was carried out included case studies, showcasing success stories of young people that had chosen and were succeeding in manufacturing careers. Rather than producing the many large case studies in printed form, they elected to commission aXcessTen to design and produce attractive electronic versions of the case studies that were then burned to a CD-ROM master for cost-effective duplication. aXcessTen also designed the artwork for printing onto the CD-ROM's and the quality cases in which the CD-ROM's were distributed.
Design and reproduction costs were approximately half of the alternative traditional print alternative and distribution costs were also significantly less, making an overall cost saving amounting to several thousand pounds.
